PROJECT
INTERNAL CULTURE BUILDING AND BRANDING

For two companies liQuidprint, a web design and development company, and Netrix Global, an IT solutions company, I worked with leadership to articulate their mission and values. From there I led communications and partnered with leaders to ensure the newly articulated ideals were woven into the company culture.

Culture Building at Netrix Global

When I joined Netrix Global, their leadership had just formed a committee articulating their mission and values. I eagerly joined. The results were the seven cultural pillars listed above.

I designed the logo, a pinwheel with seven blades representing the seven cultural traits. This was distributed in printed posters and published on the company website.

I designed a public-facing landing page for Netrix’s Culture initiative.

Next up: Redesign the Netrix Intranet
I designed the layouts for the Intranet pages and proposed we rename it. I ran the renaming competition. The winner: NED - Netrix Employee Databank.

Once this name was chosen, it seemed natural to make NED into a mascot.

I served as Art Director for NED. The execution of my concept for NED was carried out by another talented designer.

The design for the Intranet itself was warm yet utilitarian.

Spreading the Word

I was responsible for the company newsletter. I assembled information, wrote, designed, and sent it out monthly.

I also wrote , designed, and sent other Culture event announcements.

But wait, there's more...

Culture and Branding at liQuidprint

At liQuidprint I led a full rebranding that began with working sessions and team building workshops. This led to our articulation of company ideals and mission statement.

After the discovery process l designed a new logo and collateral.

I designed vibrant signage to reflect the newly articulated ideals and to show people where the door was.

But a new look is not what moves culture. Action does. I led and partnered to hold activities around company culture to ensure the mission was enacted. As a team, we sought to make the company a place where clients would continue to be thrilled with our work, but also where employees could learn and grow.
