WEBSITE & SEO
SEO PROCESS
1) Establish KPIs
To ensure SAMMS website SEO is getting positive results, I established the following KPIs:
Organic Traffic
Keyword Rankings
Session Duration
Bounce Rate
Pages Per Session
3) RESEARCH
Key search terms researched starting with client list, then Semrush
Competitor terms researched and assessed for use
The challenge was to transform SAMMS’ website from a 2-page site to an effective sales magnet on a minimal budget.
They requested strictly SEO work, but also enhanced the look and feel by adding video in the hero area and more personable photos throughout.
2) BUILD OUT WEBSITE

Website has 2 pages.
No efforts have been made for SEO
PROPOSAL

Image names and alt tags
ONGOINg
I am currently tracking KPIs using Google Analytics. As the site had no SEO prior to my work, the initial results have been dramatic. Organic traffic continues to be on a steady upward trend, but to prevent a plateau, I am encouraging the client to provide site updates, write new content, and blog.
I researched ways booth displays can make an impact at a conference. I found vendors that could deliver for the client’s budget. Over many iterations and tight collaboration with the client, I delivered a design that contributed to increased foot traffic over previous years’ conferences.
Another task was to make a splash at the AATOD conference, a key event in the addiction treatment field.
CONFERENCE BOOTH DESIGN
PRESENTATION IS KEY
When designing the graphics, I made sure I put them in context to allow the client to have a clear understanding of how the pieces fit together when complete.
Other elements
I facilitated the production of a two-minute animated informational video. I quarterbacked the writing, design, print, and delivery of collateral.
SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION
I created video LinkedIn posts to promote SAMMS’ presence at the conference. Make sure to check them out in their original video form.
Success!
The SAMMS team reported a “substantial increase in foot traffic” over previous years. I hope that the research and work put into the design played a part.
